The Killa-Watts is a fun project for the Sunshine Validation team in which our goal is to provide renewable energy to a local farm in our province of Ontario.
We also wanted to form a community of like-minded crypto enthusiasts who have our impact on the natural world at the top of their mind, and are interested in building a community that supports future ReFi initiatives.
The Killa-Watts are a collection of 800 NFTs that will be minted on Stargaze Zone Launchpad. Each NFT will be minted for $200 USD equivalent in $STARS at the time of mint.
A date for mint will be available in coming weeks! Killa-Watts Council ReFi DAO; All NFT holders will have access to participate in the Killa-Watts Council ReFi DAO - 50% of all of the $REGEN earned through commission will be put into the Killa-Watts Council ReFi DAO where the Killa-Watts can then vote on projects that help drive a more environmentally conscious Cosmos.
Some of the funds generated from mint will be used towards installing solar power at zero cost, for a farm supporting surrounding communities with positive land use agriculture products. Several projects videos will be available for the Killa-Watts to vote on and make a choice of which they think is most deserving of a professionally installed solar system. The first video has been made available along with this article! Several votes will take place in the Killa-Watts council ReFi DAO to establish how we want to go about planting the Killa-Watts forest through Ecologi! Community/Validator Engagement; Snapshots will be taken in Discord for $REGEN raffles prizes to the most active & avid supporters in the community.
Each NFT holder will also be able to participate in certain aspects of running Sunshine Validation’s bare metal, carbon-negative validator on REGEN network (for example, naming, commission rate, logo design, and all ideas that pertain to how our validator can help the $REGEN network prosper). * You can already find the Sunshine Validator in the Active Set on $REGEN Network * As we release future projects that our team is working on, Killa-Watt holders who choose to participate/engage in Discord will also be eligible for things such as whitelists & discounts for future climate initiatives.
